In July of 2005, Caviness completed construction on its new Harvest Facility and moved a few miles west from its original location. We are located in the Heart of Cattle Country, just 5 miles southwest of Hereford, TX on the north side of Hwy. 60.
Various additions have been made to the plant over the last 10 years. These expansions have continued to allow us to efficiently produce wholesome beef products meeting or exceeding the requirements of our customers.
In 2020, Caviness completed approximately 130,000 Sq Ft of plant additions in Hereford. We are excited that this has allowed us to add a 2nd shift to our operations. Almost every area of the plant has been expanded upon from coolers, freezers, dry goods, employee welfare, hides, rendering and wastewater complex.
AMARILLO, TX LOCATION
GROUND BEEF AND PATTY PROCESSING
This new state of the art ground beef facility in south Amarillo replaced our old location and was commissioned in October of 2022. It produces fresh and frozen ground beef for retail, foodservice, and institutional customers. A full assortment of beef grinds and all shapes and sizes of beef patties. Raw materials include Chuck, Round, Sirloin, Angus, Grass Fed, Source Verified, etc.
